“Show me the Sashimi!!!” – Nara Japanese Rstuarant @ Goldhill

“We decided to satisfy our jap food craving and have a look at this place based on the reviews here and boy were we not let down! Aside from the location of the place, tucked between a string of pubs and right next to another Japanese restaurant (Tsubaki), Nara is unassuming yet strangely inviting. The food and service is simply beyond words and the ambience casual(you can wear almost anything there), private (when we went around 8pm on a public holidays, there were only 2 couples at the counter and another 3 tables including us that were occupied) and comfortable. It’s almost as if you enter an entirely realm…..”

“Diamond in the rough?” – Margarita’s @ Faber Dr.

“After a punctured tire and the rest of the drama that goes with changing it on a Sunday evening, my boyfriend, myself and another 2 of our friends drove down to this quaint little joint tucked in yup, the most secluded of all places – smack in the middle of Faber Drive. It’s quite stone’s throw from the main road so unless you have a car this could be rather inconvenient to say the least. When we first drove up, the unassuming exterior, cacti-painted orange-walled interior….”
